With a lifelong commitment to serving others, Joan Mlynarczyk has worked in the field of Orthopedic and Sports Injury for over 3 decades. Joan is an Advanced Manual Practitioner (FCAMPT), a 4-time Lead Physiotherapist to the Olympian Canadian Basketball team and former Toronto Raptors Physiotherapist on the sidelines. Joan is committed to support the goals and dreams of her clients, no matter what those dreams are.
Often individuals come with a goal to be pain free but leave wanting to be more active and have greater fitness, wanting to enjoy travel, and be more engaged with their kids’ activities. Many individuals not only wish to solve their current ailment, but also plan ahead, in order to navigate their history of sports injuries, aging joints, obesity or decline in fitness. exercise and activity.
Joan brings to clients a caring, passionate, and positive-thinking attitude and strives to improve their health and disease outcomes.
Joan has a Diploma in Advanced Manual Physiotherapy FCAMT and is a lecturer and coordinator at the University of McMaster, Faculty of Physiotherapy.
Sporting background: Golfing, skiing and daily work outs keep Joan fit and active.
Interests: Outdoor enthusiast and avid Wildlife Photographer, in the field and enjoys traveling to remote parts of Canada to capture images.
