James Goetz – Osteopathic Manual Practitioner
Bachelor of Health Science & Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy)
The first time James was exposed to an Osteopath was at the young age of 15, as he wanted to understand why he was experiencing constant low back pain and what could be done to minimise or prevent it.
Following this positive experience, his passion for the field began. He was most attracted to Osteopathy by the holistic approach and how the body was seen as one functioning unit.
James has a Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy) from RMIT in Melbourne.
When approaching treatment, James takes a very client-centred approach. You can expect him to involve you in the diagnosis of your pain, the techniques used in each session as well as the exercises prescribed. Techniques offered by James will be both direct and indirect, as he aims to address the pain, as well as the structures and mechanisms causing the pain.
James is eager to help and has a passion for continual professional development. He is always looking to improve and update his knowledge through advanced courses and has plans to learn more about functional movement from the Gray Institute.
