Hilary Mallinger – Physiotherapist & Acupuncture Provider

Hilary completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University. Prior to this, she studied at the University of Toronto, completing a Bachelor of Kinesiology with a minor in Music History and Culture. Hilary is a Level 1 Manual Therapist, Level 1 Neurokinetic Therapy provider, and is certified with Acupuncture and Dry Needling. Hilary has a special interest in concussion and is a Certified Provider of the Shift Concussion Management program. Hilary has also taken courses in Vestibular Rehabilitation. Other certifications she holds include Muscle Activation Technique JumpStart™, Soft Tissue Release, K-Taping Pro and Sport First Responder.
Prior to entering the Physiotherapy program, Hilary worked as a personal trainer and strength coach, training youth and university-aged athletes. She has experience working with a diverse population, including musculoskeletal, cardiac, and paediatric clients. Hilary utilizes manual and exercise therapies to correct dysfunction and return her clients to sport and physical activity. She believes in educating and helping her clients understand their condition which assists in preventing future injury. Hilary has worked as a therapist with several sports teams including a season with the Markham Revolution volleyball program, and events with Skate Canada.
