Dr. Allie graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. She was the recipient of the Mark A. King Memorial Award for outstanding proficiency in the field of diagnostic imaging, as well as the Harold Beasley Award for Excellence in Jurisprudence. She holds a Bachelor of Science Honors Specialization in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Allie is certified in both Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), which are techniques focusing on the functional aspect of movement and rehabilitation. She is also trained in medical acupuncture through McMaster University.
Dr. Allie believes in living a healthy, well-rounded lifestyle. She is very active and loves sports, especially soccer where she has competed at the international level. Dr. Allie loves working with clients of all ages and abilities. She has had the opportunity to work with everyone from elite athletes to weekend warriors to office workers and those with chronic pain. She uses a functional approach tailored to each client to get people back to doing what they love. In addition to her strong manual skills (adjustments, mobilizations, soft tissue therapy, medical acupuncture), Dr. Allie uses rehabilitative exercise prescription as an integral part of her treatment plans in order to get clients stronger, happier and healthier. She looks forward to working collaboratively with clients and the other practitioners at Ace to make sure clients receive the best care.
